Intro to Business

Interested in studying business? It’s a versatile program choice that leads to a multitude of career options, and there are many different business degree and certificate programs available at Eastern Florida State College that can start you down that path.

If you’re new to business, one of the many business classes taught at EFSC is GEB 1011 Introduction to Business. This well-rounded course will give you a broad introduction to many different foundational topics related to business activities and operations, which will enable you to decide on a specific career path within the field.

Major topics covered in this three-credit class include the evolution of business organizations, ethics and the social responsibilities of organizations, entrepreneurship, leadership and management theories, marketing, accounting, finance, as well as current issues in business enterprise.

Business Ownership

Get an overview of the different types of companies and explore how to create a structure for your small business.

Management and Employee Empowerment
